Finance Officer
Alyson is our finance officer – she makes sure the bills are paid and deals with things like gift aid and other important finance tasks.
Alyson has had a lively interest in the Christian faith from childhood, attending several Church of England Sunday schools in and around Walsall, via five decades as a Catholic, to what now feels like the right place at St Matthew’s.
Some people are amused, others bemused, to hear Alyson and churchwarden Judith talking in German, but languages are an abiding fascination. Very little is allowed to get in the way of BBC4’s Saturday night subtitled dramas – pity about needing the subtitles, though!
