Priscilla Trood

Young Children and Families Worker

Priscilla is taking on a new role within the church of Young Children and Families Worker. She will be leading the Stay and Play group for families with children up to 5 years old, and running other groups for babies, toddlers and young children with their parents and carers throughout the year. She hopes to build relationships and share her faith with them.

Priscilla is a qualified primary teacher with Early Years Professional Status and has been working with under 5s in children’s centres, schools, nurseries, playgroups and toddler groups for over 20 years.

Following redundancy in 2017, Priscilla set up her own business, Me and My Baby, and run groups for babies and children in Walsall and other parts of the West Midlands.

She is married to the Rector, Jim, and they have two married children and two beautiful baby granddaughters. She loves spending time with the family and trying out the resources she’s made for work on the little girls!
